So I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 for almost 40 days now, and for the most part, I’m pretty happy with it. But being happy doesn’t mean it’s perfect. There are some things I don’t like about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 which you should know before buying this phone.

Mine coming next week best looking folding phone and small enough to pocket unlike my s24 ultra
I like that theres no punch hole camera on the main screen
I've had it since launch and it's been sooooo nice closed and open.
I have the fold 3, multiple problems. Sound cuts out when opened. Are these issues resolved?
My whole issue is, I want a bigger screen to replace my content viewing experience from grabbing a tablet. I'd pay 2k for a flipphone but when I try viewing context on it the aspect ratio is the same as a regular S24 ultra…. hugeeeee deal breaker

I have a Fold 6 and when I put the device under water for seconds, the power button stopped working as shown in the video. What is the solution?

I got the Z Fold 6 1TB Navy and can honestly say it's the best device I have had to date.
I've come to accept that what I really would like to see in any foldable device and smart phone, is still a short time away down the line and I'm becoming fed-up of waiting. The features I'm waiting for are two-fold (excuse the pun) and can't happen for me soon enough.
1st stage feature set:-
I was really hoping for with the new Z Fold 6; this was to have a 'Titanium' metal frame/enclosure. A camera system at the ery least to match the S24 Ultra (what a dissappinment). A front screen size and aspect matching the S24 Ultra. Slightly better battery life. In fact, it should've been a foldable S24 Ultra… however there is also an advantage to having a slightly smaller/narrow device when folder, which makes it much more pocket friendly.
2nd stage feature set:-
What cannot come soon enough, is solid state batteries for days of usage between charges and considerably longer overall battery life (no 'dendrites' problem). Also micro-LED, not mini-LED which is completely different, for making the elephant in the room of screen burn a thing of the past, as well as infinitly higher quality display.
Great phone . But when closed the outer screen still to narrow . Hard to text /email etc , the inner screen when open is 100% love it

Thank you for your video, the crease is deal breaker
Coming from someone owning the fold 3, and went back to my s22 ultra then coming back to the fold, I'd say that the I'd choose the fold 6 over the s24U.
Better cameras??? The z fold 6 is more than OK. I don't need high resolution images large enough to print over a billboard. TBH, those people asking for the 200mp actually don't realize that they do not use it really that often. I'd pick the bigger inner screen over the camera anytime. Want professional photography quuality cameras? Go get an SLR. Heck my 16mp DSLR still beats my friend's Iphone 15 pro max and my other friend's s23 ultra.
My only initial concern was the s-pen. This is coming from an s-pen heavy user since the NOTE 5. What was the "saving factor" for the fold IS that the external spen feels like an actual pen because of the size. The fold edition spen reminded me how good it feels to be writing with an actual pen instead of a slim matchstick that I have been using for 8 years on all of my Notes up to the s22U. As an architect it felt like a breath of fresh air.
If the fold 6 really stands up to the "better durability" than my fold 3 long term, I'll be upgrading without any second thought. (I did had my fold 3 fixed because of the flex -something that was the actual killer of the fold)
The folding phones may have a niche following but I'm sure those people made a careful decision to go there, just like me.
I have the OnePlus Open, and it is the best phone I've ever had, even closed with a normal aspect ratio, not even opening the phone is an awesome experience. I don't think I'd want to switch to Samsung at all. Highly recommend The Open if you want a foldable!
I looked into it briefly at Best Buy. The front screen is completely useless, the large screen is nice, but paying $1.9K is out of the question for me. S24 ultra is much better and more useful. I would say is very fast and snappy phone, making the iPhone 16Pro look slow 😂😂.
It is a good device (combined of hardware and software), but for the price, it is not acceptable. the crease is not the 6th gena nd still annoying, while others have a much better results from their first get phones. cameras are old gen as well, only software enhancement. For the price of 2 S24Ultra, i expect to have a super phone. the hype of fodables not is finished, many brands are in the foldables boat. they should do MUCH better to deserve the price.
Next we need an upgrade to the crease and the spen slot. Otherwise everything else is already perfect now. I know some people mentioned the camera is so so, but actually it is very good. I have tested it, it still looks better than an iphone
Watch the speaker comparison part at 4:10 . Why both non Apple phones screen are having black lines moving up? 🤯😱
Hey Sal, which weather widget are you using here?
It's just such a …..boring foldable. It's at the bottom of the pile in every meaningful way. It is absolutely NOT the best looking foldable. That belongs to the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4. The Fold 6 excels at nothing….and is average at everything else.
I upgraded from the fold 2 😳. Wayyyyy better. Won't upgrade again until like the fold 10 LOL
I have the z fold 4.
No issues with the outer screen being narrow.
I mainly use the inner screen otherwise I would have saved £1,700.00 and bought a regular phone
I'll buy the vivo x fold 3 pro to replace my z fold 4, Samsung is becoming greedy like Apple
People complain about everything, lol. Comparing it with the ultra makes no sense. They are obviously different phones. This is the first folding phone I have had, and I absolutely love it. Listen, if you know how to take care of your stuff, then it will last.
1:31 Hey, I gotta know if the z fold works with pure tuber app and if u can use the fill screen mode so that u don't get black bars when watching a video. Thank you.
