i jus heard the Huawer mate xt tri fold phone will be released globally. that means no chinese bloatware apps. that means it will most likely have google pay and android auto

Harmony OS actually a safer operation system. Because hacker knows iOS and Android than HOS system. I think there will be more and more people interested to try out some Chinese brands global version due to iPhone and Samsung phone have no major improvement for the last fews years!
I’ve had no interest in a folding phone until I saw the mate XT. This is something which is really worth having, and I plan to order while I’m in China in October.
iPhon does not have full satellite connectivity at all! HwaWei phones can make voice call i. addition to SMS! All iPhones have SMS only!
You know, I'm starting to get a little upset with Samsung, because I bought the first day, like you did and they gave me 1200 for my phone, and I got a 512 gigabyte, you know, with the upgrade they gave us. Why would anyone want to go and buy early when you can just wait? What? Less than 60 days, and they're going to take another 100 off and then give you a down to 449. I paid 7677 with taxonomy. And I. did buy a case with it. But when you think about it, I could have saved $300 more by just waiting And I find in their practices very just distasteful. And I know they're doing it because nobody's buying their sixfold because of the they've gotten such bad press of the small front screen.

I won't bet on Samsung making tri-fold phone. I think they have given up on battery technology. That's why their z fold are still thick compared to literally any Chinese brand foldable. That's also why they want to go the fold+roll phone instead.
They good things is, the competition in China are huge. When Huawei have the MateXT, Honor, Xiaomi, Vivo and Oppo/OnePuse won't be resting, and they all potentially can make foldable as thin as Huawei. My bet is on Honor. The Magic V3 is already stunning and Honor is literally the son of Huawei.

It runs android just not Google services. So no play store but harmony is based off open source android. So it can run any android app that doesn't need Google services.

The only reason IPhones still have the best video capabilities is because Sony revoked Huawei’s access to their high speed cmos, they instantly regretted their decision after the mate 30 and p40 series, 7860fps is just crazy, even Sony themselves can’t do anything like that now, many years later

By "satellite connectivity", it means voice AND SMS communication via satellite. I don't think iPhone can do voice calls via satellite.
no one is going to have anything like this in the next 3 years. it took huawei 3 to 5 years to develop it now imagine any other company outside of china

I have been using Honor Magic V2 (bi-fold) for a year. It is so convenient that I wouldn't use single screen anymore. Now looking forward to a tri-fold.

4:05 bezel on left pulls my eye being smaller than on the right. Probably not a problem as software update may sort it out. I like the way it does it tho

The Mate XT is where I've been hoping folding phones would go this whole time. I've had every generation of Samsung Fold since the beginning and always want whatever the biggest screen I can get. Having a 16:9ish screen when fully unfolded sounds amazing. 2 creases don't matter to me in the slightest.

They literally destroy 2 screen foldable. The screen ratio is perfect in portrait and landscape position.
I live in china and they have it on display in many shops. It is really thin and very impressiive unfounded. However it is in a glass display umtil after launch.
sad that China is so far ahead of technology with its EV long range batteries, and folded phones and the U.S. is so far behind.
People always bash samsung folds. Yeah, all these folds are cool and bigger, but I can still see the crease. That tri fold is alright but not appealing to me because of the two creases, and it looks wobbly.
Samsung make Huawei XT screen for triple screen. Samsung already make a lot of money from Huawei.
