  1. In a way, modern tablets have returned to this particular form factor. The current Galaxy Tab models are designed to be used this way, but with the home button and fingerprint scanner now at the right side of the screen when in landscape mode.

  2. This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine – unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

  3. I bought it in 2014. Years later I wanted to use it again after at least 4 weeks and it had 50% battery left. Wifi was off and the display too. The battery still today holds weeks when wifi is off… I watch movies and series on it. It easily lasts for 10 episodes each 50 min. And the display doesn't just hold up till today, it's even top tier. 2560×1600 AMOLED. The S8 doesn't even have that😅
